Saint-Gobain Abrasive Grains' Cerpass XTL® seeded gel abrasive grains feature unique, market-leading sharpness and microstructure.
The combination of grain shape and microstructure delivers an aggressive cutting and long-lasting ceramic grain that is optimized for organic and vitrified bond systems, heavy-duty coated abrasive grain utilization and low-pressure applications such as fine finishing.
The greatest value from Cerpass XTL grain is its ability to remove material at a higher rate than conventional fused grains. As seen on the chart to the left, Cerpass XTL's removal rate can be as much as 3.5x higher than conventional fused grains. Increases in productivity can be realized via simply changing to a grain with a higher material removal rate withoutany further capital investment.
